There were some air leaks from the lungs and hence more chest drains had to be placed to reduce the chance of tension in the pleural cavity. Cumulative effect of the sedative and other drugs are going to take some time to wash off. Had the tracheostomy and is on and off the ventilator, trying to wean off the ventilator. Tube feeding is also improving. There is a small amount of urine out put now. May need a tracheostomy for a short while. Not receiving any sedation now. Scan showed a lot of damage to the left side chest cage and lungs but healing is progressing well.
